slowthai Skepta has canceled the music video for the song

Due to unforeseen circumstances, slowthai was unfortunately forced to postpone the release date of their next album. TYRON of a few weeks. However, within days of the launch, the Northampton-born artist has blessed us with his new single “CANCELED” which features Skepta, along with the accompanying music video.

The bass melody lasts three minutes and 20 seconds in total and opens with Skepta spitting out his introductory verse and diving straight into the hook. The latter presents it by noting the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury – the annual five-day festival that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, England. From there, Slowthai jumps on the mic and spits out his aggressive bars, and playfully screams movies like Harry Potter and Ong Bak – a Thai martial arts trilogy.

The visual here is that of the middleweight gore as the two British MCs take us through an adventurous montage of recreated horror films. The opening scene shows the two rappers on the phone with each other comically playing the famous “Whassup?” »Scene from Horror movie, but turning it over in their own language shouting “Wagwaaan?” The rest of the video also displays reimagined footage from movies like Candy, Nightmare on Elm Street, American psychopath, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Thesilenceofthelambs.

Watch the clip above and note that TYRON is set to officially release on February 12 via Spotify and Apple Music.

Elsewhere in music, Lil Durk and Only The Family have announced a “Loyal Bros” compilation album.
