Rapper Lil ‘Durk was all the rage yesterday (Friday, September 3) after fans immediately fell in love with his verse on by Drake last track, “In The Bible” from the recently released “Certified Lover Boy” album. While some were simply praising the Chicago artist for his second collaboration with Drake, others swarmed that he took the opportunity to plug in his girlfriend India Royale’s cosmetics line … as he must !
If you’ve been following Lil Durk and India Royale’s relationship, you know the couple are known to stand really firm and unlike some of their rap game peers who think they’re too cool to be sad for them. boo, Durk took every opportunity to show his love and adoration to India Royale and its businesses.
On the new track, Durk raps, “India Royale cosmetic, I’m just promoting my bitch / Drake song for sure, I’m just promoting her shit,” nodding for the 26- line. beauty for years.
Immediately after the album’s release, fans took to social media to share their thoughts on Durk’s verse, praising him for bringing his girlfriend into the song by any means necessary. “Lil Durk has always weakened me,” said one Twitter user. “In the middle of the song he just says” India Royale Cosmetics, I’m just promoting my b ****, drake songs that do big streams for sure I’m just promoting his shit “… that has nothing to do with the song! This boy just wanted to put his girlfriend on.
“Yeah durk love India fasho,” said another user. “The fact that he just shouted his business on Drake’s album …”
And another user shared our thoughts exactly, tweeting, “I love how hard Lil Durk is on his daughter, he said I’m going to use this Drake feature and promote my line of girls cosmetics.”
