Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has announced the winners of his recently concluded #My5StarStory open verse challenge, led by Genie KG.
Organized in partnership with the Audiomack streaming platform, the competition invited up-and-coming musicians to perform an original verse on the musician’s latest single “5 Star”.
It aimed to provide a platform and support the growth and development of up-and-coming artists across Africa, offering them a prize package including home studio equipment, top 20 trending placement on Audiomack , an editorial playlist added on Audiomack, and a push notification to their winning entry. to all their Audiomack subscribers.
Over 800 entries were sent in from across the continent during the contest entry period. Chris Tonye and Eddievybes are the first and second runners-up, respectively.
