Nicki Minaj released a surprise remix “Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)” featuring JT, BIA, Katie Got Bandz, Akbar V and Maliibu Miitch.
The rapper had released the track on Minaj’s Queen Radio around midnight Thursday. On Friday, fans showed overwhelming support for the track while its featured rappers also shared emotional messages, including City Girls rapper JT who finally secured his collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
Nicki Minaj shared some words for JT who she says made the song her own by delivering a killer verse. “She made that shit her own and when I say that I mean I was pleasantly surprised,” Nicki said. “In fact, hearing you on the song made me realize how many other possibilities there were in terms of rhythm.”
On Friday, JT took to Twitter to share her joy. “I haven’t felt like this since ‘in my feelings’ in 2018 before prison, I walked out and never had my WOW moment, it got depressing…. I thought I wouldn’t feel anymore never horny and motivated! i feel so good i am so happy and i deserve it,” she tweeted.
The rapper also reacted to Minaj’s verse, where she gave her flowers for being one of the best writers in the rap game. “Y’all, she meant everything she said and that means everything to me, still with doubts about me THANK YOU @NICKIMINAJ I love you!!!!” she added.
Maliibu Miitch also echoed similar sentiments to JT as she expressed her gratitude to Nicki Minaj for adding her to Billboard’s #1 track.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has also shared several posts where she was delighted with the reception of the track and also the success it gives to the female rappers she has featured. The certified hitmaker wrote: “Y’all omg. The #QueenMix is already #1&2 on us iTunes all genres. We love you guys so much!!!! Thanks!!!! These girls have body and deserve it.
She also addressed her anonymous critics, noting that her fan base has gone without the big marketing budget and media campaign.
“Notice that they only published bullshit. N/A to all who support the song and women with bodies. They don’t campaign for us, chi. We have to get it out of the mud,” she said.
“Super Freaky Girl” samples Rick James’ classic 1981 song “Super Freak.” The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has remained on the chart since its fall in August.
