Jadakiss confirms he has an unreleased verse on “Mo ‘Money, Mo’ Problems” by Notorious BIG

He also recalled that Biggie had him rewrite his verse from “Last Day”.

LOX are in the limelight of their recent Verzuz battle against Dipset, and they stopped The breakfast club to discuss the event and their rich career. While they were there, Charlamagne Tha God made them dispel some rumors about their discography. While Jadakiss has denied some ghost writing rumors, he confirmed that he recorded a verse for “Mo ‘Money, Mo’ Problems” from The Notorious BIG with Diddy and Ma $ e that had not been used.

“I had a verse on it that they never used,” he said. “You will probably hear it when I’m dead.”

It’s not the first time he’s talked about missing the track. “I was supposed to be on this song,” he said during a 2017 appearance on The breakfast club, where he also noted that Ma $ ea wrote Diddy’s verse.

Last year, Statik Selektah also confirmed that the verse existed in an interview with HipHopDX. “I also have Jadakiss on ‘Mo’ Money, Mo ‘Problems.’ Crazy. He was on the original, ”he said.

Although he was not selected for “Mo ‘Money, Mo’ Problems”, Jada and The LOX would work with Biggie on songs like “It’s All About the Benjamins (Remix)” and “Last Day”. During LOX Breakfast club Appearing, Jada also confirmed rumors that Biggie made her rewrite her “Last Day.”

“I had another verse,” Jada said. “[Biggie] was like, ‘No you could come stronger than that.’ And when I gave him the one I came with, he loved it.

“Mo ‘Money, Mo’ Problems” appears on Biggie’s second album, Life after death, and would become one of its flagship hits. He sampled “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross and was certified Platinum in 1997.
