The limited series will premiere on the streaming platform on June 8, 2022, bringing to life a character who previously only appeared in comic book pages. With Disney keeping many of the show’s secrets under lock and key, fans are seriously speculating what they might see in Ms. Marvel. And YouTube comments offer some interesting comparisons.

The ‘Mrs. Marvel’s Trailer Revealed Some Serious ’80s Vibes

Disney released the Ms. Marvel trailer on March 15, 2022. But fans wasted no time discussing how the featured clips looked. As one fan wrote in the comments section on YouTube, “Love the initial aesthetic of this show. Definitely catchy for younger audiences. Another fan compared it to a Sony-Marvel project, writing, “It looks like a live spider-man in the vibes of the spider-verse. I’m going to love it.”

Several fans praised The Weeknd’s use of the song “Blinding Lights” in the trailer. “Just hearing the blinding lights of The Weeknd, this legit feels like a stranger things Series.” The overwhelmingly positive comments continued to praise the gleaming technicolor palace. The Kamala Khan character was first introduced to Marvel Comics readers in 2013. In 2014, she scored her own solo series. The character, who is the comic book giant’s first Muslim superhero, has become beloved by fans of all ages. And this new Disney+ series gives the young character a chance to shine while delivering a coming-of-age story that has something for everyone.

After Kamala finds a mystical bracelet, she develops powers that appear to be energy-based. Now she struggles with the pressure of being superhuman and all the other stresses of high school and family.

Newcomer Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan in the series. Currently, it’s unclear if any major Marvel stars, like Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel herself, could make appearances on the show. But fans will learn more in the coming weeks. Ms. Marvel debuts on Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
