“I had to use an oxygen pump after every verse” – Asim Riaz on the set of his rap song ‘King Kong’ in Ladakh: Bollywood News


Asim Riaz recently released his energetic rap titled ‘King Kong‘. While this is his fifth rap song in 10 months, ‘King Kongwas the first rap song ever recorded by Asim. It took him a while to present the song as he was busy making the lyrics more punchy. Bigg Boss 13 finalist Asim Riaz, who describes his journey through rap, said he picked the title ‘King Kong‘since his rap is very energetic.

The King Kong video was shot in Ladakh capturing the beauty of the valley. The video was shot at a height of 14,000 feet above sea level with freezing temperatures of -5 degrees. – Speaking of shooting in the valley, said Asim. Bollywood Hungama, “I have always dreamed of filming in Ladakh. Nubra Valley is the best place to shoot. The valley’s color palette connects with my vibe. It is at a height of 14000 Ft. I had to use an oxygen pump after each verse because the oxygen level is really low at this height. But I’m really impressed after watching the final release.

‘King Kong‘was performed and written by Asim Riaz and the music was composed by Charan. The music video was directed by Jay Singhal.


Asim Riaz had previously released his rap songs titled ‘Built In Pain ‘,’ Back To Start ‘ and ‘Sky high‘, among others. In ‘Back to top‘he documented his struggle in the entertainment industry and how he made a name for himself.
