Eminem Drops New Verse On Cordae’s “Parables (Remix)”

Today marks the release of Cordae’s new album From a bird’s eye view, and the week leading up to it was eventful for the young rapper. Monday he stopped The show tonight for an interview and performance of “Sinister/Chronicles,” and earlier today he unveiled the tracklist for his new project, which includes an Eminem feature from “Parables (Remix),” an overhaul of his single of 2020. Now that the album is out, so is the Em remix, which represents the rapper’s first new verse of 2022.

There are a few points worth noting in the verse, such as when it addresses cancel culture: “I fucked Gen-Z into a frenzy, but I don’t give nothing, I’m stingy / And that’s is the fucking difference between them and me.” It also has a few name drop moments, like, “So I treat a beat like it’s Tekashi, spit on that bitch like Meek Mill” and “I was painfully shy, now I’m proud of myself / Like the Obama children, I came out of my shell (Michelle).

This isn’t the first time Eminem and Cordae have bonded, as Cordae previously featured on Eminem’s 2021 remix of “Killer,” as did Jack Harlow.
