Chris Brown shares never-before-seen ‘New Again’ verse for Kanye West’s ‘Donda’

On Saturday night, the 32-year-old artist took to Instagram to share the verse he allegedly penned for Kanye West. donda album. Brown received credit for the project’s 18th track, “New Again,” in which he assists Kanye on the chorus. However, Breezy claims he played a much bigger role in the original version of the song and was apparently caught off guard after realizing his full input didn’t make the final cut.

“The Verse/Chorus I Mysteriously Didn’t Do!” he captioned the excerpt.

hours later donda hit streaming services on Sunday, Brown took aim at the Chicago rapper in a few Instagram Stories: “Kanye a whole whore,” he wrote in a post, followed by “Nah he tweakin.” It was initially unclear what prompted the slur, but an insider close to Brown later told The Shade Room he was upset about her missing verse.

“A A source close to the situation tells us he’s not too thrilled that his verse was removed from “New Again” on Ye! wrote the outlet.

Soulja Boy also called out Kanye for allegedly pulling his role on donda. The “Crank That” artist said he recorded a verse for “Remote Control” assisted by Young Thug and didn’t realize it was cut until after the album was released.

“If he didn’t like the verse, he should have said so,” soulja tweeted. “Don’t text me pretending you’re fucking with it then take it off secretly. What kind of shit is this? I was also working on my album. I don’t have time for this shit.

Soulja also threw a series of insults at ‘Ye and even went so far as to mention his mental health issues and failed presidential run.

“On God. You a bitch @kanyewest,” he tweeted. “And if you got a problem with what I say I’ll knock you out my nigga.”
