Chart-topping Christian rock band Benny DiChiara and Empowered continue to build on a breakthrough in 2021 with the unveiling of their latest, uplifting and moving music video, “I’ll Meet You There (Daddy’s Song)” , which is released today, Friday, January 21, 2022. Portions of the new video, which was produced by Richy Long and Gary Governale of the LA Post Group in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, were filmed at a concert in St. Francisville, Louisiana’s historic Hemingbough just before Thanksgiving 2021. Long and Governale previously produced the band’s “Listen to the Children” and “Three Days” videos.

“I’ll Meet You There (Daddy’s Song)” is a tribute to DiChiara’s father, who passed away from cancer in October 2020. “I’ll Meet You There” is an emotional song for me,” says DiChiara. “But while there was pain when Dad passed away, the joy of knowing he’s in heaven is so much greater. We can have joy in our sorrows, especially when God is in it.

“At the start, there was this ‘sting’… confusion, a certain anger, loss,” continues DiChiara, who co-wrote the song with its producer, Dove nominee Mikey Howard (7eventh Time Down with Love Journey music). “Oh, but for God’s sake! He steps in and gives us hope and joy in the midst of it all! I knew my dad was going to heaven since he accepted Jesus as his Savior. So I know I will see him again. This is how ‘I’ll Meet You There (Daddy’s Song)’ was born. Our prayer is that this song brings hope, joy and comfort that only comes from God.

The Hemingbough concert capped a stellar year for the band which included DiChiara in several high-profile media appearances including CBN’s The 700 Club, Cornerstone Television Network’s flagship show, Hope Today, the award-winning NRBTV Babbie’s House,, nationally broadcast radio show Bill Martinez Live! (carried in over 300 US markets), popular Baton Rouge, Louisiana, lifestyle publication, 225 Magazine and many more.

The vulnerability and authenticity of the “I’ll Meet You There (Daddy’s Song)” video aligns with the band’s current EP, Three Days, their first release since DiChiara nearly lost his life to a head trauma. His healing journey makes the group’s accomplishments of 2020 and 2021 all the more significant.

Two of the project’s songs, “Listen to the Children” and “Three Days”, have held multiple #1 chart positions on, as has the music video for both songs. In total, the EP Three Days has now earned seven number 1s on the charts over the past year and has generated over 250,000 streams on Spotify.

“It is beyond humility to see what God has in store for us when we listen and obey. When he says move, we should just move,” DiChiara says. “In 2021, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by many outlets across our great country. God has opened the door for more than the music He allows me to create, but also for ministry. That God uses me to touch people’s hearts with His message (sometimes specifically for a certain person) is difficult to understand. But God. He surrounds us with special people to help us accomplish His purpose.
